You often see yourself printed in a piece of paper. Before that you have to be taken your picture first by a tool called camera. Have you ever imagined that camera that you can make it on your own? Just do the following experiment.

The steps:
- Prepare the black carton, greaseproof paper, rubber band, magnifying glass and candle.
- Fisrt, you have to make a camera box made of a piece of black carton. Punch the carton about 1 cm in the midle, and also punch shape like a square in other parts.
- Put the greaseproof paper on the camera box and tie it with rubber band to make it tighter. Put the lens in front of the camera box that has a needle hole. If you are finished making it, then you are ready to use it.
- Face yuour camera to a burning candle. Look at the back side of the camera through the greaseproof paper. Can you see the candle light? How about the position of the candle that you see? How can that happen?
- Now face rhe camera to a doll on the table. Can you see the same thing as you when you see the candle?
Forming an image
When the first tried photography, William Fox Talbot made a camera made of a large box. What appear here is the experimental version of one of the cameras that he made in 1835. The box had a single lens, which was producing an upside-down object image. Fox talbot put a piece of paper that was sensitive to light at the back of the box and let a little light reaches the paper for more than one hour.

You will see the shadow of the candle becomes upside-down. Sometimes we see a shadow that is seen by our eyes become up straight. What cause it? Now you can take a picture some objects with your camera, you can see your litlle brother or sister, butterflies in the garden or anyting that you want to see. That's the principle of camera, easy isn't it?
